- The {{PD-self}} tag is clearly incorrect, or at least insufficient; I assume the uploader's intent was to relinquish any copyright claim the act of scanning the signature might've given them (which it would not do under most jurisdictions, including U.S., although it might in some places). However, {{PD-signature}} may apply; it certainly would under U.S. law, but I can't say for sure where Ecuadorean copyright law draws the threshold of originality. Given the simplicity of the signature, though, I'd be somewhat surprised if it was considered copyrightable. —Ilmari Karonen (talk) 05:57, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
