I am André Kritzinger, a retired SAAF Colonel and railfan who lives in Bloubergrant, Cape Town, South Africa. I grew up at Touws River as a Railways child and then spent my career amongst aircraft. Now that I’m retired, I keep myself occupied photographing, documenting and modelling trains.

Most of my photographic contributions have South African locomotives as subject. Locomotive photographs by myself and some other contributors are shown in the following galleries:
