Some info about me here on Commons: I live in Hoorn, North Holland, the Netherlands. A city of about 72,000 residents. At the moment I am trying to get all the monumental buildings photographed for the lists. When I'm in an other city, and I have time, I'll try to take photos of buildings there too. My own municipality, the municipality of Hoorn exists of four places, is the most important geo-location for me. I went to school in Amsterdam and since February of 2014 I'm just about every weekend in The Hague. In case you have requests for photos or articles about buildings, sculptures, etc., just ask. These photo's don't fit into any of the three given categories, but I still think they are great:

  10 gulden uit 1941
• 
  Voor mij (nog) onbekende paddenstoelen in Hoorn.
• 
  Schilderij door Johannes Bosboom, tonende het Sint Jans Gasthuis (nu Boterhal) en de vrijstaande klokkentoren van de voormalige Grote Kerk. Toren gesloopt in tweede helft 19e eeuw.
• 
  Een deel van de kermis in Hoorn, hier op kruispunt tussen Breed, Veemarkt en Gedempte Turfhaven.
• 
  Een Oegstgeester dakpan van onder gezien
• 
  Een rondel, zit al jaren in mijn collectie, maar blijkbaar nooit eerder gefotografeerd.

  Destroyed guilder coins. On top: two 2,50 guilder coins, left Juliana, right double head (former queen Juliana and new queen Beatrix). Bottom: double head 1 guilder, 5 cent and 10 cent coins, both Beatrix.
